Hello darlings, Nice to see you! Thanks for hanging in there while I’ve been taking too long of a break! I’m back and ready to show my recent makes.
I have to say that this has been my most favorite knit top to sew and wear. It’s from Gertie’s latest book, Gertie Sews Vintage Casual and it has become one of my tried and true patterns!
Thanks to my MIL for providing this teal fabric! It’s soft and that’s all I know about it! I made the tops with 3/4 sleeves and a scoopneck. Such comfort! There’s instructions on how to create a boat-neckline but I failed and will try again another time.
I purchased this ponte knit at Hancock Fabrics for $4, on sale from $17.99 a yard. That’s just crazy.
LOVING *sarcasm* those creases that are screaming at me to do an FBA…oh well. The next ones will be corrected.
Such a quick and easy pattern! Each top took a few hours to complete.
Not too pleased with the neckline on this one but I still wear the hell out of it!
Until next time, happy stitching!!
